Currently, the world's MRO market capacity is about US$56 billion. According to a recent forecast, by 2034, the global commercial fleet is expected to increase from 19,000 aircraft to 40,000 aircraft, which means 35,000 new aircraft will be in service and more than 14,000 aircraft will be eliminated. While actively developing the capabilities of maintaining a new generation of aircraft, maintenance-service enterprises also need to selectively and gradually terminate the MRO services for old aircraft. Therefore, the overall MRO market is expected to more than double in the next 20 years.
